Learning about China in Minnesota, part one

So, those lucky kids are going to China, and we family members will be enjoying our "staycation" in Minneapolis? Well, we can still learn a lot about China while we are here.

The Minneapolis Institute of Art has an extensive collection of Asian art. It's definitely worth the trip, and it's free to get in. You can wander the hallways, or tour their web site. They have a timeline of the dynasties that gives an idea of the thousands of years of Chinese history. Each dynasty link also has a short video highlighting objects from the collection. 
But those YouTube stars, the "historyteachers" folks, have made a catchy music video for remembering  Chinese dynastic history (using Madonna's "Vogue").
